CBD + Elderberry Tincture
CBD stands for Cannabidiol. CBD Tinctures, have many beneficial properties that are still being researched and studied. The endogenous cannabinoid system is comprised of endocannabinoids and their receptors are located in the immune cells, connective tissues, glands, organs, and brain, and its purpose is to maintain the body’s homeostasis.
Elderberry is a plant that has been used for centuries to provide relief from sinus issues, colds, and flu. The berries and flowers of the Elderberry plant are rich in antioxidants and vitamins that may boost the immune system. Elderberry may also be effective in fighting inflammation, chronic fatigue, and constipation.
Elderberries have a natural sweet and bright flavor. Our CBD + Elderberry Tincture is also flavored with Blackberry Terpenes. The combination of the Elderberry with the Blackberry Terpenes is a perfect blend of sweet and tart. It is reminiscent of tasting sweet berries with a touch of tartness.

A Tincture is simply a liquid extract of an herb(s) that you take by mouth. The nice thing about Tinctures is they concentrate the useful chemical constituents and medicinal properties of the plant material into a liquid (usually alcohol, vegetable glycerin or apple cider vinegar). Kadence Naturals uses organic grain alcohol in our Tinctures. Tinctures are often more effective than over the counter or prescription medications without the nasty side effects.
Tinctures are best taken on an empty stomach. This gives the herb(s) a chance to get into your system undeterred. Everyone's body is different. 1-2 droppers initially is more than adequate, from there you can adjust up or down.
A single squeeze is considered one dropperful of Tincture. No matter how long your dropper is one squeeze will usually provide the same amount of Tincture since the bulb on the dropper is the same size. Squeeze the dropper to release a dose under your tongue. The Tincture will enter your system most effectively if taken under the tongue. The Tincture will taste very strong. Try to hold it under your tongue for 30-60 seconds before swallowing. If the taste is too much you may take a sip of juice or water to rid the taste. You can also add the Tincture to your juice or water as well as swallow it.
